@all

This just popped up on google search, although it is dated October 31, 2007.

Hmmm...

Perhaps this is related to what was posted here, also on October 31, 2007?

@number6

So "Amiga Inc" (more likely it's investors) have started three lawsuits against Hyperion over essentially the same thing by three different companies owned by the same investors. Do they not even realise how dodgy that looks?

BTW, didn't they officially close Amiga Inc. Washington (a.k.a. Amino)? This just makes it look more and more like the investors have been playing little tax/debt evasion games.

@Hans

i think this time it's the other way around.
Amino is defendant, and Hyperion is plaintiff.

Err no, as I understand this time it's Hyperion that started the lawsuit.

Yes, I am quiet fed up with the situation. But if it helps getting AmigaOS4 + Hardware out soon, so be it.

@Hans

They never "closed" AIW, they just put into hibernation, and now woke it up to counter Hyperion's "you're not the real AmigaInc"-argument used in that other lawsuit.

Since they "sold" everything "Amiga" years ago, they had to change their name and Amino was the obvious choice.

Btw. still searching for someone who ships 50kg-packs of popcorn at reasonable rates

If Amino/Ainc Washington isn't shut as a corporation, don't they still owe rebates for coupons sold to a couple thousand community members????

@number6

IMHO this looks like a pre-emptive stike by Hyperion to prevent Amiga Inc using multiple companies/identities to cause chaos and confusion?
