The latest EasyNet build has been uploaded to the Live Update server.

Older users on EasyNet can upgrade by starting EasyNet and select Live Update option from the menu.

Hi

i would like to download this update but i seem to have messed up
my Easynet installation. when i launch the application it gives me a message that i need to start AMITCP first?

i have tried reinstalling but the problem persists.
i have checked that the assigns point to the right place but still no luck.

any advice on how to get this working would be appreciated.

Which version of EasyNet are you running currently? (See About.. menu option)

What is the exact message when you click online button?

Recent versions of EasyNet auto-setup the assigns if they are pointing to the work place.

This means that you have an old copy of Genesis/AMITCP4 on your Amiga's hard disk as well and you have attempted to install EasyNet which is conflicting with Genesis.

Open EasyNet, goto the HELP menu, select Configuration Help and look at the Assigns section. EasyNet will identify the conflict in assigns.

You will need to modify your s:user-startup to quote out the assign to Genesis directory.

hi,

i have deleted the reference to genesis in the user startup file reinstalled easynet and restarted
the machine.


on starting easynet it asks me for an assign for Amitcp - same folder as easynet.

when i try and connect i get the exact same error message as above as welll as:

AMITCP:Bin/IFConfig failed returncode 20 +++ Error13 in line 1: Host environment Command returned 10/13: Host environment SYS:REXXC/RX failed returncode 10
