I very much doubt Hyperion will do that. People have been nagging them for a new UBoot since 2005, so far nothing. What would change their mind now? _________________ Common sense - So rare it's almost like a super power |

True.
Hmm, what about Open Firmware for A1 instead?

What would that change (as long as Hyperion has to add the OS4 dongle code to the firmware)?
We could develop the A1 U-boot further, if Hyperion would generate official U-boot images automatically from a public repository. Let's say the image (with the dongle code) is generated every day at 12:00 and is then available for download from the Hyperion website for those that have registered their OS4 CD. Naturally normal users should wait for an approval from the U-boot developers._________________ A1SE: G3@600MHz, 2GB, 1GBit network card A1XE: G4@933MHz, 2GB, refitted AC'97 codec microA1: G3@800MHz, 1GB
