I would love to see those games on my Amiga

there's no way minigl will run that engine. We need proper gl wth shaders etc. first.

Why is the entire community just waiting, sitting back, for thr freidens to fix everything?

What happened to all those Amiga coders within our community?

Also

Would like to add, its HansNZ with MiniGL, but again, why is the whole community placing the whole strain up against him? MAybe there are coders that could help him, or work together?

Sorry, but everytime I read a thread like this, Im just wondering what happened to the real good coders?

I checked the sources, and there is no references to Shaders (only few internal names for).
Also as i read in readme, that engine based on Q3 engine, so, imho pretty possible to port even with our current minigl implementation (but i can be wrong, i just check sources briefly).

But from other side, i already found some sources, which have x86 asm parts inside (but maybe it will be avoided on compiler stage).

I also found in src/renderer file called tr_shader.c , in which:

Busy with their own projects?
I don't think we'll ever have "enough" coders to do "everything", but that hasn't stopped us getting pretty far so far!

Nice to see that kind of source code available.
It's always interesting to get a look at them for "educational purposes".
It can help learn C/C++ coding rules and optim.

Yeah I think though that we as a community need to throw a heap of money at some quality developers like Hans, and the Friedens to develop the meat and potatoes of computing to really bring AmigaOS4 into the present and into the future.

Things like :

1. Flash Pluggin
2. Java
3. OpenGL

Ports like this game would be awesome.
