@klx300r

Last time we had massive work on other platforms (android, ios etc.) just because the money, because our plan is to be fulltime developer. starting on Monday, me and Goos McGuile work in fulltime together as "EntwicklerX" ;) So now we can spend more time in our developments and also more time in Amiga Projects. Release Cycles will be shorter than last time. I can not say if the race car is the next release, but it comes to amiga! And Hope we can release many things in this year.

@imagodespira

It's really nice to see new Amiga developers, developing brand new next-gen Amiga games. Thanks.

this is great news as all your games for AmigaOS are top quality IMHO!

I will look out for your programs on other OS's too

@klx300r

I love top down racing games too - I hope it comes out soon too!

Nitro, Indy Heat, Super Offroad, Super Sprint...so many great racing games on Amiga.

Or in my fantasyland would be a Trackmania 2 Canyon clone for Amiga with online multiplayer gaming - that would be incredible! This is my favourite game at the moment on PC. If you do play Trackmania 2, I am Epsilon on there too, so give me a shout if you do play it. If you have no idea what this game is, have a look here!

@imagodespira

Thanks for your kind words about my blog - I enjoy writing it and I hope people continue to enjoy reading it!

@all

Thanks everyone for your great feedback - I am really enjoying having an AmigaOne X1000, and trying my best to get the most out of my significant hardware investment!

I will try to regularly update my blog with new things I am trying out on the X1000, and fixes and help on things I hit trouble with.

You may like F1 Spirit then, if you don't know it already
I like your blog, especially 'cause it's full of screenshots, good reading

@Nibunnoichi

Thanks for the kind words about my blog!

Regarding F1 Spirit - Thanks for the tip! I tried it but it runs so *slow* on the X1000. I guess because there is no opengl support yet and it is trying to use the wazp 3d driver I put in which is terrible speed on the X1000 for some reason...

Epsilon

glad to see the X1000 is not the only thing we have in common mate Trackmania looks awesome although my 7 year old pc notebook might be too slow to play it. An amiga online multiplayer racer would be great & I'm more into the game play and not the flashy graphics and movies of todays games

Today I decided to install an additional spare 500GB Sata Hard Disk in my AmigaOne X1000 to gain more space and a backup OS partition on a separate disk. (Actually the drive came originally from my Sam440EP which died a long time ago)

This meant for the first time today I opened the case on my X1000!

I wanted to share with you all what is involved in this upgrade process, the internals of the X1000 and some very interesting things I found while doing the upgrade!

I have added a new entry to my blog that goes into the details with photos right here!

Catcha,
Epsilon

Yes, it's slow even on Pegasos2, but I thought that would be much faster in X1000.

@Phantom

Once Gallium & new 3D drivers are here then X1000 can enjoy 3D games in full power.
For now you can use dual screens with a 9250 card to enjoy 3D games with current setup.

@klx300r

I want to do the dual screen thing, but since I discovered today that both pci slots in the X1000 are occupied - by a sound card and ethernet card, this is not an option which is disappointing.

Unfortunately to my understanding the onboard network port and sound card on the X1000 do not work at this time, which is why the pci cards with drivers were included by AmigaKit with the X1000.

Of course, if either the X1000 onboard network card and sound card do have drivers now I would love to know about it - I am keen to get the Radeon 9250 PCI card in there for dual display and 3D support!

I have now added a how-to guide to my blog on how to get Delitracker working on the X1000. It takes a fair bit of work and config to make it happen so I wanted to detail what is needed to make it easier for people to get this working!

Article is on my blog here!

I hope this helps someone out because I found the process somewhat frustrating - the result is worthwhile though!

Hi All,

I have updated my blog this week to include an article on Classic Amiga emulation on the X1000 - what to expect, and what work well and what doesn't.

Also included is how I set up my old Amiga 2000, 1200T and 4000D hard disk based Amiga systems to be fully emulated on the X1000.

The new blog entry is here!

I hope you enjoy it!

Nice, they added my Delitracker-Tutorial in a long version and better readable version.

Nice, Very nice, I did think about how to go about emulation different amiga set ups, as so far I just been running the odd classic game from adf files and using the basic workbench 3.1 set up you get for the odd app, I think I might do that same set up as you when I get time, thanks for the idea and detailed blog.
