YYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSS! this game absolutely rocks! the only downside is that on my peg2 with a puny 9250, i'm only getting around 20FPS when running at 1920x1080 resolution. lower resolutions are fine.

guess i finally need to get one of the newer radeonHD-capable machines now.

I tried the demo in 1280x1024 and it runs between 30-60fps. I like the config tool and the graphics and the game is already a challenge in normal mode ! I also like the fact that it supports 2-players simultaneously and thats probably the first time in Amiboing history.

it looks very nice but there are still bit here and there :
* no locale support, the game is in german
* when you loose a life, you loose the extra weapon you just collected and thats a shame because you end up with the basic shoot against more and more robust enemies

Waiting for the full release !

well you dont loose all weapons, i have a 3 way shot , died and back to 2 way...;)
that means you lose only one or the half dont know yet.

averaging 38 fps here (32-45) at 1680x1050 with full FX.

I use the mouse to play but it's a little annoying not being able to move the ship when you're not firing...

Sam440ep-Flex 800mhz.
Joystick lets you move very well.

Loosing a weapon level when you die is the same in all these game types. Even use to happen in Banshee

I had the pleasure of demoing the M.A.C.E. game at the Silicon Dreams show on the AmigaONE X1000.

I seem to recall that full screen 1920x1080 HD mode in high detail was in excess of 60 fps. Really smooth and gorgeous graphics. However, I was still rubbish as the game.

I just tested this demo out too at 1920x1080 and 16:9 with show fps and my entire short game I was sitting around 250, I then selected high in the settings and I sat around 160.

I guess I like my 7970 even more now?

I hope they remove VAT then I might buy all there games for support

Ed: Just wanted to ad I applied myself in the next game and almost got 10000 pts - I wonder where we can get these joypads in the help section?

Looks like video bus bandwidth is also a factor.
Max 51FPS on a Sam440ep-flex + PCI to PCIE adapter and Radeon HD6670.
Sam460ex and Radeon HD6670 I was getting max about 140FPS .

I enjoyed the little play I had at Silicon Dreams. X1000 is currently tucked away while the house is being ripped apart for new electrics etc. Hopefully get to play more later.
