I got 60 FPS on 1920x1080 here on my X1000 and of course Vsync on..

Its probably more a latency effect, rather than video bandwidth, time it takes to operate the functions and return back to code. As the all the needed images will be stored on GFX memory prior to any action. _________________

| ok just played the demo and just stunning graphics, effects and music for this top down shooter on my 27" 1920x1080 just awesome! smoother than silk with my HD6850   _________________

| Being that I have no OS4.x machine Im unable to try it out, but good work nonetheless. Visually it reminds me a lot of some of the Dreamcast shooters released after its commercial demise. I cant articulate exactly what it is that makes it so familiar, but regardless it is.
Anyway, good stuff. Nice to see some original games for any of the amiga-oid systems amongst the plethora of open source ports (not that Im against them either though) :) |

it's a proper attempt alright and it is quite cool to be able to play a shoot em up like this in 1080p without any slowdown.
and yes it does indeed set an DC shooter vibe but i can't say which as i haven't played on my DC in a few years sadly as i wanted to stay away from it for a while as "once you pop you can't stop" . _________________

| Completed the demo a few times now, I love some of the weapons available, including the ship seeking missle and sonics ;) although noticed theres no chance of ship speed increments.
