@Bish8
Welcome to AmigaWorld.net!
Funny that you did not describe what you saw inside your A600 when you opened it up. Sorry you are having trouble uploading the pictures here, I am not much help in that department, as I have never tried to upload any pictures here myself.
So, what did you see inside your A600? Does your A600 boot to a workbench screen when you turn it on with no floppy disk inside of the floppy drive? How much memory does your A600 show at the top of the screen when it is running?
If you can try to load that game again and tell us exactly what the error message says, it may help us figure out what is happening, so we can advise you better.
There are a few online Amiga retail shops still left, and I highly recommend AmigaKit, who are located in Cardiff, UK. If you need any memory upgrades, or if you like the idea of having that Kickstart ROM switcher inside your A600, I would recommend getting it plus a v1.3 Kickstart ROM for your A600. I have used Kickstart switchers in several of my Amiga computers over the years, and they are great for running software or games that requires an earlier version of the Kickstart ROM.
I will look through my collection of Amiga games to see if I have Dungeon Quest and look at what Kickstart ROM and amount of memory it requires to run.
If you can answer my questions above, I am sure we can help you get that game working, or tell you what you need to do to modify your A600 to make it run.
Good luck, David aka AmigaDave _________________ Amiga! The computer that inspired so many, to accomplish so much, but has ended up in the hands of . . . . . . . . . . |
