@Daytona675x

I tried it yesterday and reached rank 11 in normal 1p mode !
It really plays well and the pixel effect is a very good addition, making the game slightly more difficult since it covers sometimes the ball. The flamethrower is countering the pixel effect so the balance is well done.
I even made a small donation and hope you and your team will continue to provide original/innovative games for nextgen Amiga

Thanks a lot! Yes, we will - or more exact: we are working on other titles right now.
In the meantime: there's now an AROS x86 version too (plus updates for the existing versions, most of you should get those through the auto-updater though).

@Daytona675x

Im just posting to say;

You guys sets the standard for how Amiga platform developers should present their games;
be it website design and game in general.

You make simple, yet entertaining games, in a polished manner. Im now 40 years old, but got kids at 11 and 13 that loves Voxelbird for example, so the games doesnt just resonate with nostalgic middleaged men

Keep up the good work!

@Daytona675x

Decided to donate a few euros. Not massive amount, but since you insist on keeping your games free, it was about time I paid some for the fun Ive had.

Had almost forgotten about this game until I read the review in Amiga Future 113 today.

Bought it for my pad, and the game is really slick and fun to play.
Arkanoid was one of the first games I played, so this brings me back where I didnt have grey hairlining.

Looking forward to whatever you guys dream up next ^^

@Daytona675x

I have a graphical glitch in fullscreen mode : the door with the opposing robot faces, when it opens, the rface on the right stays onscreen and flickers.
this does not happen in window mode.

@lionstorm
Thanks for reporting!
This sounds like it is due to a known R200 driver bug I reported some ages ago (guard band too small) which would explain why it's the right door and why it's only happening with some resolutions. The right door gets clipped although it should not. The higher your resolution / window-size the easier it happens.
I have already workarounds for this bug, apparently I forgot to enable it here
Consider it fixed. You should receive an online update in the next 24 hours.
Please report back here when the fix reaches you and if it works for you. Thanks!

@Daytona675x

thx for your input and quickfix !

btw it even works on my A1200PPC@240MHz with BVPPC with music and sfx
I use CLASSIC=1 tooltype but even with that it is too slow to be playable (I enabled FPS=1 but I have 3 figures, the upper one being at 3 (fps ?)).
I tried in window and on its own screen at 640x480-16bits but this did not help.

Of course, thanks for reporting.
Please don't forget to report back if / when the issue has been fixed on your side.

However, you should use the mail-adress you find inside the readme for reporting bugs.
There is nothing wrong about also posting bugs in a forum, actually it's quite useful to also get feedback from other users as well, so I encourage it.
But the thing is that we do not constantly monitor all forums. Right now I saw it because I'm kind of busy in another thread. But under normal circumstances your report might just be overlooked by us.
Therefore: please always send us a mail too if you want to make sure we really process it!

Yes, as being said in the game's readme we got feedback that it was somewhat still playable that way on an A4000 Cyberstorm system. "Still playable". It's more a proof of concept than fun (I guess it was about 9-12 fps max on such a system)

An A1200 system like yours, although the specs appear to be similar, is much slower in reality Sorry, apparently VoxelNoid is simply too demanding for such a machine.

The 3 numbers are fps, stationary voxel triangle-count, dynamic voxel triangle-count.
