Hi,

in short we will release AEROS Premium for Raspberry Pi which allows also the execution of Linux i386 binaries and with Wine also i386 Windows applications side by side with ARM Linux and ARM AROS binaries... cool ? Yes definitely cool.

This one runs on a Pi2 but is based on a Pi 1 compatible ground. After the initial Pi1/Pi2 compatible release, we will work on a version which works only on Pi2 but offers better performance so with luck WinUAE will run than perfectly : ) (yeah I know that ARM Linux become a JIT 68k as well, but WinuUAE is a nice benchmark for me).

Btw... I decided to release a older "full Version of beta 8" of AEROS for Raspberry Pi 1 here:
http://amigaworld.net/modules/news/article.php?storyid=7367

It is available for users of the indieGO! Appstore
http://www.indiego-gaming.com/marketplace (scroll down to get the graphical clients /on the top are text-only clients)

Alternatively you can use this puplic link to get the Raspberry Pi 1 only Version:
http://www.indiego.rocks/file/downloadApp/1a064e31a841d93c8b9afe5c78a24ad5

BTW:
AEROS will soon be available in a public image only. Registered users will just need to activate some components with their indieGO!-ID. So the free image become "Plus". (If you bought plus edition before)

Plus Users again will be able to upgrade to "Premium" which adds Exagear X86 Wrapper so you can run i386 binaries.

Premium will be also available as physical package and replace the Plus images.
A upgrade to plus can be done from the, since beta 9 included, indieGO!-Appstore.

But.. at first I wish you fun with beta 8 on your Raspberry Pi 1 ; )

If someone moans about the music should be aware that those are remixes from classic Amiga games songs. The first one is Xenon Megablast. If you dislike them you will be blocked : p
