I'd forgotten about this and was going to say the HD is hidden inside your case but I can see the problem is more complicated than that.

What happened? I refreshed myself and last I read you had solved it.

But yes you don't want to start partitioning and formatting your OS away. Usually you are warned if you will lose a partition.
