As we await the release of AmigaOS 4.1 FE for X5000/A1222, it would a nice gesture for Amigakit/A-eon to let us see the case they have decided upon.

That Kubb looks really nice and is simple idea also. It's like a design item. It looks like you'll have to buy the whole computer from them. It looks like shells don't come with a chassis to install your own motherboard on and no back panel.
On their pictures they have the idea of what I've been thinking when you'll make a custom case design create a GUI theme for the installed OS which looks the same as the case as well. _________________ Rock lobster bit me. I rather like the case you referenced, the other two get increasingly ugly. But the respondents are right that you might want a case the has provisions for an optical drive.
Further, as these cases could only be used to house an FPGA or Tabor board, I probably should regrain from even commenting as the latter is not a system I find appealing.

I'd rather have an A1000-style case with a keyboard garage. Or an A3000-style case, which I think was the best looking of the lot.

Got my X5000 in a NZXT Case
More or less the same as the Fractal Design R series used on the X1000 but with 3 5.25" Bays Last edited by JurassicC on 29-Jan-2016 at 09:47 PM.

When considering the current Amiga economy the X500 wedge case is a valiant effort, but it seriously lacks style. It has no panache.
It's a pity A-Eon don't make a mini ITX board. Here's the case I plan to get later this year for my mini ITX AMD AM4 gaming rig. DeepCool Gamer Storm TRISTELLAR
And before you start writing how Acube's Tabor 1222 is a mini ITX board let me just stop you right there. Would anyone seriously sully such an amazing case with the likes of the crippled-at-birth board that is the Tabor?

| What would be cool, and it would't be that expensive, is to source a case similar to the DeepCool TESSERACT SW-RD and get a custom mesh for the front fan. The mesh would be a grid square of alternating densities so when you turn on the Amiga, the red LED in the fan would reveal a Boing Ball. Last edited by agami on 30-Jan-2016 at 04:10 AM.
