Our government invited 100+ Iraqis to build new life in our country. Many of them fled to Germany at first opportunity. And these were all legal migrants. "Quota system" is stupid idea. How can you even expect people, who disrespect our laws (trespassing multiple borders) to stay in country, where they don´t want to live? |
People trespassing borders and disrespect laws must be forcefully reimpatriated loosing all rights for political asylum. Once you have caught and reimpatriated first 20 or 30, the others will learn the lesson...Last edited by Raffaele on 08-Jul-2016 at 02:49 PM. Last edited by Raffaele on 08-Jul-2016 at 02:48 PM.

If I read linked article correctly, it is not Nazi plan, but US intelligence report about plans of german industry leaders |
Didnt read it that well, i just happened to bump in to it couple of days ago in Finnish, but i didnt do very thorough reading of that either.
But by quick read looks like nazi officers meeting with industrialist readers, also this: "At this second meeting it was stated that the NaziParty had informed the industrialists that the war was practicallylost but that it would continue until a guarantee of theunity of Germany could be obtained. - - - German industrialists must - - - , it was said, through their exports increase the strength of Germany. - - - They must also prepare themselves to finance the Nazi Party - - - which would be forced to go underground asMaquis" (- - - emphasis - - - mine)
would indicate that it wasnt industrialist leaders plan, but nazi plan which industry leaders would carry out.
And yes, no idea about its credibility. Just pointing this out since you asked for the source, and i suppose thisis what he was (slightly errorenously) referring to. |

Source document is too vague to built on it thesis like Adolf Hitler had a plan for a united Europe, and it had a simular structure to the current EU for a one nation Europe - assuming it is indeed genuine.
As far as I (and relevant history books) know, German plans for New Order in Europe were based on pure hegemony, not Union of more or less equal partners. Argument wolfe used in post 374 is simply wrong, unfair and stupid. Last edited by pavlor on 08-Jul-2016 at 07:07 PM.

The post can't be reformulated sadly. It's a joke and has to be worded the way it was. I looked for an Italian translation but there isn't one apparently.

Well maybe it makes more sense if it is me eating sour grapes, but again why do iggy should offer me his victory pie garnished with sour grapes so then he could not eat it as a trophy?
A joke must match situation else it is not a joke...Last edited by Raffaele on 29-Aug-2016 at 04:40 AM. Last edited by Raffaele on 29-Aug-2016 at 04:38 AM.

You aren't reading it correctly.
Iggy gets the pie. I get sour grapes, from you.
As I said, it's just a joke that doesn't translate well.
This may or may not help.

From your point of view, even most of Europe would look like socialist paradise. Even moderately wealthy country like mine has free healthcare based on health insurance for all and free tertiary education. |
I will weigh in one last time on this.
The media always blames the "The Right Wing" and is never correct. They blame Tea party or whatever and are never correct.
Europe is not a paradise right now, except for maybe Ireland since they threw out the socialists and now have around a 7% GDP growth.
I don't want free stuff! The US was made to get away from that.
That is why I like to be self sufficient and would retire off the grid if I could. |

You apparently think you know the mindset of our founding fathers as well. Trust me, the average tea party member or so called conservative is fairly clueless about that.
With all those copies of the Constitution being waved about, you think they would take time to read them. _________________ Amiga! "Our appeal has become more selective" |

| @Beans,
I am mostly Libertarian, too busy and don't care what other people do. I am however thrifty like a Scot, especially when it comes to spending other folks money.
And yes I do understand the Constitution.
I am sick up with the Fed being addicted to OPM "Other peoples money" and putting their fortunes above the peoples. Corruption is rampant and needs to stop! |

| IMR the immigrants feared by most Brexit voters, where EU citizens from east European countries like Poland.
Immigrants from Syria or Afghanistan will have to face the same problems moving to the UK, no matter if the country is a part of the EU or not.

All the Polish and Eastern European people I've worked have been hard working a good people on the whole. I think the overblown immigration issue is something that the London-centric press like to focus because they can't understand why anyone would want to unsettle the apple cart that has made them rich at the rest of the country's expense. London was made the self-styled centre of financial services for the EU and reaped the benefits of the free market, it's no surprise they're jittery now post Brexit vote. IMO leaving the EU was about us being able to govern our own country, make our own laws, govern our own borders and not have to pay lip service to unelected politicians in Brussels and Strasbourg!
If we need increased immigration for our job market we'll be able to raise the quotas and allow in the best people from across the globe not just the EU. We need to set the quota and we'll damn well negotiate a free trade agreement with the EU AND keep border control or they'll lose our business to the Commonwealth and China/Asia. It's in the EU's interest to do a deal. Gone are the days of a centralised European totalitarian 'Parliament' or 'Commission' telling us that we need to allow in any EU citizen that fancies coming across the channel. We are not a McDonalds drive through, if you want to work here you should need a work permit and a Visa. Last edited by BigD on 28-Aug-2016 at 10:02 PM. | The immigration issue is just the stereotype label put on Brexit supporters to steer the discussion away from the decreasing democracy in EU, and as a result of socalled Free Trade treaties. They have nothing to do with Free Trade, but more about shifting funds from the citizens to the top % (hedgefunders, CEOs etc).
The revolving door between goverments and banks/private complanies has lead to Brexit.
To sum it up into two words: Systemic corruption. Last edited by Overflow on 28-Aug-2016 at 11:07 PM.
