@tlosm

Or you could just read the comments on Youtube.

Ruff 'N Tumble

Edit: my link doesn't work for some reason.

Edit 2: it probably doesn't like the quotation marks in the URL. I expect that's it. Anyway, I must see if I can find the original game.

Edit 3: I like it! (the original game, that is.) I like how he comes skidding to a stop on this sneakers. Thanks for posting this.

It isn't a current Amiga game.

Is there anyone who still follows the Amiga who doesn't know Ruff'n Tumble?

Also, what's the connection between this Rad Rogers and Ruff 'n Tumble? Is there any link, or is Rad Rogers just hugely inspired by it? Seems way too close to not be infringing on a copyright if there's no official connection. Perhaps I checked the wrong links, but they seem to be crediting Commander Keen, and Apogee games (although unless I'm mistaken it is an Apogee release?).

No, I was the last one.

I probably missed this one because I got out of Amiga in '92 and didn't come back for 15 years. Big hole there.

I don't actually play many games, so I'd probably be the last, actually.

Probably bad wording on my part, but "still" was meant to imply having followed things all along.

Considered a bit of a later day (as far as commercially successful games are concerned) classic by a lot of people.

Heheh, as well as Ruff 'n' Tumble, the game pokes fun at many 8 and 16-bit era games! It starts all cutesy, in a magical, fairy-tale forest environment, then the kid starts blasting everything with his mega gun!

It mimics the well-known quote from Zelda, "It's dangerous to go alone!" but before long swear words are thrown in, so although it parodies classic kids' games, it certainly isn't meant for pre-teens!

Wikipedia says: "Release date(s) 1994" the Amiga hype was mostly over at 1994,

It looks quite boring to me, platform games where never the type of game that interested me.
