When I type sata info 0 it says that selected controller does not exist. When i type Sata info 1 it says units on controller sii3114.

If you don't see a description of your Hard drives and dvd drive then it means that either the SATA card is defective or your cables are loose .

What do those mean again ? I rememer is was something about what kind of drive was on which port ?

These are for AmigaOS 4.1 1= hard drive 2=CD/DVD 0= nothing . If Uboot does not see the drives then you have a problem. See the image below for what you should see with the sata info command in uboot . https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/5429075/IMG_0481.JPG

It boots now.
One of cable connectors was faulty.
But.....
I cant get the drives to work other than hd on port 1 and dvd on port 2. Since i have 2 hd drives and the second hd or the dvd doesnt work on the other ports there is still something wrong. The two hd drives work fine on port 1 and 2

The sata cable connectors on the Sii3x1x cards seem to be very picky with the Sam460ex. Sometimes you have to keep trying by pushing the cables down a bit at the connector on both the sata card end and the drive end .

I know it's not all solved yet but I'm happy you are making some progress. I've been following this thread for what seems too long. And after seeing your avatar glad that axe stays in your hand and hasn't gone though the SATA chip.

Had the same issue myself this morning after swapping out sound cards. Finally got things working again by pushing the connectors in all directions and trying again and again until the hard drive was recognized.

For now I removed the SSD ans atached only 1 HD and the DVD. Like this it works fine.
When Ive got more time, I ll try to get the other SATA ports working again.
