Looking forward to meeting Garry!

BTW, I have been trying to get into contact with Brian Deneen and Chuck Washburn for over a week. I haven't received any replies yet, so does anyone know what's up with these guys? Could someone PM me an alternative email address?

The website does state "Spam is out of control", so maybe that's the problem...

@ Bodie

If everything goes well AmigaWorld Radio will do live coverage from AmiWest 2004. I will see if something could be arranged for the banquet as well.

Cool! Too bad I cannot be there in person or even listen "live" on the radio. But I will be catching the mp3's and video files later on.

Tekmage and AmigaWorld.net are co-operating to provide this live-coverage.

@ AmigaOneProductions

I will take my Digital Camcorder with me. PM me with regard to the FTP upload information. I will upload my recordings if they contain anything of interest.

Say what???? Did anyone pick up on this???Quote:

Anyone care to speculate what this bit is about, "the next generation of mobile communication chip sets"?

Is this the cat, let out of the bag?

So let me start the mindless speculation.....
KMOS has "built" or "integrated" these "next generation mobile communication chip sets" into an A1, either via a daughter board or more likely an off the shelf PCI card, and written some software around it on top of OS4?

Is it some sort of set top box.....or router?

Mobile????? What? Are we gonna be carrying out A1s around?

Or maybe the A1 acts as a wireless server for wireless devices like PDAs? And what would it be transmitting?

Ok, I'll go back to my happy place now......

Traditionally, big announcements have always happened at AmiWest, so this will certainly be worth listening to.

@BigBentheAussie

Kmos don't care about the a1. They are just licensing it to eyetech and the OS to Hyperion.
Their preocccupation is mobile/pda market. Really nothing interesting for us here.
