Good work - that's very useful information, and nice to see...

I like fxpaint. I have used it quite a bit. Occasionally it does crash under os 4.0 when using some of the effects. I know warp3d/warpos is not ported to os 4.0 yet, but I would like see iospirit make fxpaint completely native powerpc code. Someone should donate an AmigaOne to them.

As I understand it, IOSPIRIT are not developing for the amiga anymore (just selling their software), so this is unlikely to happen.

(See news section on the site 8/3/2004)

IOSPIRIT's position as regards OS4-native versions of their software is understandable. Still, if H&P come with the promised ArtEffect for OS4, I doubt Felix will sell any more copies of fxPAINT. Which is a pity.

I just went ahead and placed an order of fxPAINT (the packaged version, to celebrate that the pending postal strike in sweden was called off today ).
While I already have a copy of ImageFX that I'm quite satisfied with, I figure you can never have too many image applications.

Of course, it isn't really very economical to purchase multiple utilities to perform the same task, however, with the current fall promotion, fxPAINT is dirt cheap! So it's really a no-brainer!

Hopefully it'll turn out to be really useful, but in all fairness, it's too cheap not to take a chance. Besides, the demo looked useable, from the brief glance I gave it.

link - compatibility, not compatability.

Really, people around here need spellcheckers. Or brains. I can't decide which.

What ever need would we have of brains? We are, after all, BAFs, right? Not like we'd be able to use them to think for ourselves or anything.

Of course, with properly functioning brains, we might figure out how to use those dictionaries once and for all, which might improve posting quality, so you've indeed got a fair point there. It's just too bad we can't all be natives of the British Isles and have the mental capacity to power a small locomotive.

I mean, geez, c'mon! It's a typo for Zarquon's sake!

Neko, I had warned you a couple days back about your posting behaviour, please do not make me warn you again (and I am deadset serious)...

oh and if a spelling mistake is made, sometimes we approve of news etc just prior to going off to work ;)
