This news is a couple of days old, but I still approved it for others like myself who have not heard it yet. Sounds like the new Commodore are doing well.

BTW DarthX, I had to change the link as the one you submitted resulted in a "not found" error on the Google News page.

Well I guess this has to be a good sign for things to come for Commodore.

Maybe the next story will be:

"Commodore aquires Amiga. Endless source of funding available".

I'd agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.

Good for them and good for Amiga. I am thinking that as people get to notice the new C= that they may also start thinking about the Amiga.

I would love to see a partnership form between Amiga and Commodore. This is not the same Commodore that choaked the Amiga, this is a new Commodore that knows how to get product on the shelf.

I wouldn´t mind seeing a joystick classic Amiga. It would blow away any of the other flashback joystick things.

In addition, I think they could use the Amiga to start an actual serious desktop which is one thing I think they really lack at this moment.

I hope the Amiga can gain the needed applications for it to be caught up with the other platforms. This would make OS4 much more attractive to a company like Commodore. I do not think they need to actually own Amiga, just if they had a partnership with them that could be just what the Amiga and just what Commodore needs.

Cool!
An acquisition of Amiga Inc would be fine by me
