Silicon Image Sil0680 PATA IDE???
I thought the Sil0680 is a serial-only?
same question for the onboard IDE?
I have the 0680 in my system installed, though, any information appreciated |

| Open your A1 and you'll see the SiL0680 is PATA.... Or there are 2 boards with this name around.

Ahh, re-reading it, i misunderstood the post.
It says that it NOW have those cards/chips supported in the COMING new release
of the driver ADDING the ITE chip
PLUS i mixed up PATA and SATA  |

Aha, well XFS (wikipedia) is a name I do know. This sounds great for those hoping for reeeally large files. If only I had exabytes of disk space...

It has nothing to do with XFS, SFS2 or any other exsisting file system. |
