Is this necessary update also for Sam440EP-Users?

Yea, that one was annoying with the AC97 A1-XE onboard sound! Has it been fixed for the VIA AC97 too? |

Yeah, it works now perfectly! Now i can make a softreset without freezing the whole system.
Works fine in my Sam440ep/667.

I didn't do any fix regarding soft-reboot issues on the SAM. Actually, since I saw this reported in the forum thread, I tried to reproduce it, but I couldn't. So, unless you used version 5.0 of the driver, I don't see why it would crash on reboot. Anyway, if it doesn't do that anymore, all the better.

I'll try the reboot during playback on via ac97 soon, but my guess it that it works on my system. We'll see. |
