Software News   Software News : CtorrentGui V2.1 is out
   posted by Antique on 16-Jan-2010 12:20:40 (3604 reads)
Just uploaded version 2.1 of CtorrentGui to the depot.

Changes:

*Removed some printf output if pressing ok in the aslrequester without choosing a file,or the .torrent was broken.
*Added pause button in prefs tab. Sets titlebar to 'paused' when active.
*Added support for big files :) Thanks to Jesus Fernandez(yescop) for fixing that.

Thanks to mason for the icon. Yes,the ratio doesn't work yet. Will fix that for next time, sorry. Please notify me if you have problems or find any bugs. Thanks

Does sadly not seem to work as it should here.. All torrents give me listening on 0.0.0.0:portnumber which sounds kinda wrong to me.. After a while it just times out.

@tomas

-i ip Listen for connections on specific IP address (default all/any)
-p port Listen port (default 2706 -> 2106)

The -i is not available,since i've forgotten about it. Will look into it. But should look at all as default it says. The -p is what port to listen too. Use this one in the tooltypes of the icon, LISTENPORT=????

I've never used it,it works here without needing to change that.

Ok now it works with correct port settings...
Now I hope that next version will support multi download like Transmission and have some info about file in download queue...
Another thing that I need was a fully resizable window...
Now its really annoiing to look at infos in that small window...

However GOOD WORK and go on! :)
We need a fully Torrent client on AmigaOS...unfortunately Transmission too havent so much option atm...

@Tuxedo

Agreed. That "not-fully-resizable" window drives me mad.
And multi-downloading would be nice, too.

Great work! ;)

@Tuxedo

The resizable window should be really fast to fix. The multi download is not possible with current ctorrent as it doesn't support it. But you can start ctorrent several times. What more info are you thinking about?

@Antique

Well...ok for multi launch CTorrent no prob :)
For further infos I mean simply that:

Try uTorrent on windows....

I know that's complex...however at least:

1 - an info about status of the files of the torrent
2 - some more config like where to save torrent(maybe a popup DirRequester?)
3 - choose limits for upstram and downstream and choosing ports within the gui...
4 - a gfx display of the parts available and downloaded...

To tell only of the nicest to have...
