Electronic english dictionary (you type any english word in search field, and have full and big description of word in different forms and examples). Pretty interesting for all non-native english speakers (like me:) )

For those who haven't heard of WordNet before: it's an English dictionary, basically. Monolingual, with plenty of extra information about words. It does contain some linguistic mumbo jumbo (it's a linguistic tool after all) but you don't have to view that if you are only interested in word meanings.
WordNet exists for several platforms. What makes the OS4 version special is the browser: I'm pretty sure it's the best WordNet database viewer around (just try out the pathetic Windows version and you'll see  ).

Its actually very good and very usefull indeed.
i wonder how i managed to miss the earlier versions...
PS:the interface/gui is very good laid out and you deserve praise for that one!
