i'd like the brainstorming to be over for yesteryear 2004,
2006 bring some early experimental implementation
2009 first internal version ...
oh my blob, i think it will be announced as ready for general consumption at amiwest 2010 O_O!
hum, more seriously, so far i have to admit os4 is the only one trying to do such things.
(trying to push in the right direction , memory protection, and looking forward)
other ones are plainly just sticking to the holy grail os3.x backward compatibility..

I was helping Carl out one evening and he still remembers a heck of a lot. Much of the 3rd party tools have changed but the basics are all still there. Heck, Workbench hasn't changed much since they invented it LOL.
