Software News   Software News : WordNet 3.3 released
   posted by Trixie on 31-Mar-2011 5:19:59 (3539 reads)
An update to WordNet, the popular electronic dictionary of English, has been released. This is a maintenance update that fixes a couple of problems including a serious one. It is, therefore, strongly recommended to upgrade to this version. See Release notes in the readme file for more details.

Download from OS4depot.

What the readme info boils down to is:

Before upgrading, delete the WordNet configuration file from both ENV: and ENVARC: The file may have been corrupted by the previous versions! Then run WordNet 3.3 and re-save the settings.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

@Trixie

Much thanks for this update, WordNet is a very useful utility.
It's not inconvenient to update a program that someone has generously spent their time working on for us to use

I'd agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.
