Events   Events : Amiga USer Group Meeting
posted by Gebrochen on 14-Sep-2011 3:39:27 (3026 reads)
Dear Amiga USers,

Any Amiga Users from Australia are welcome to join us at the AUG meeting this Sunday.

We have a diverse range of Amiga users come along to these meetings, anything from Classics, New Gen, PC Emulation right down to customised made, such as the Flea by Tino.............

THe meetings generally go longer than the designated end time, as users are having too much fun to stop early, haha.

Time is 2pm to 6pm, but many stay till late.

The details of where to go to get to the meeting can be found here :

http://www.aug.org.au/where.htm

Cheers

And I hope to see some new faces!

I'll be there! Demonstrating Update 3 on my AmigaOne. And hopefully testing out my new WIP Linux installer. As well as giving advice to those wishing to use an external HD on their Amiga system.

But what's with the US? I thought this was an AUSer meeting.

Just wanted to say that it's a nice laid back meeting type deal and sometimes we even have a retro gaming session :)

Here's a couple of video's I took of the last meeting when I brought my new ACA 56Mhz A1200 to demo my latest port of ScummVM.

August 21st 2011 - Amiga User Group (Victoria Australia) Meeting 1

Well, I am assuming that it'll be like last time round, and that most people will be staying until about 10pm, so enjoy coming to the meeting!!!!

Any idea or rough estimate of what time you'd be rockin up? 3pm, 4pm ........ 12am???

Cheers

@ Fairdinkem

That reminds me. The Linux installation is like the A1 I found out. Pegasos. At least for Ubuntu, It has an installer you download and run. We can test it out on Sunday. Prepare a new partition.
