@Huno and Thellier,

Thanks a lot for this quality port, i'm able to play it on my Sam460/RadeonHD with useful Wazp.library (thanks Alain Thellier!) with option render=compositing enabled even if it's a little bit ugly, i hope Thellier will improve Compositing render in next release of Wazp, that feature is nedeed to all Sam460 users with RadeonHD because we don't have the 3D and Wazp seems a perfect emulation of Warp3D infact the games with compositing are very playable and more more quickly than soft render. If it will be improved it closes a gap in 3D for all RadeonHD users in meantime we receive AOS4.2 with Gallium.

@Kyle

yes it works in software render too, but it's slower than compositing, i prefer to switch on compositing and have some glitch on the screen but at least it's playable, we should pray Alain to improve his Wazp, perhaps a bounty ?

It`s the best action/arcade/shoot-em-up we got at the moment, with awesome gfx!
The latest release with high-res gfx and loystick support is great.

A little notice/question I have an ATi 9250 and I think is capable to handle the game, but if I choose max detail, the scroll is a bit jerky (affect tha gameplay also). A high-detail setting is hard to tell from maximum, and the game is like the original in terms of gameplay.
Is it something that has to do with the OS gfx driver, the HW itself or the game .exe (any chance to max it out and keep it smooth scrolling?) ?

On AmigaOne G4 1,26 Ghz and Radeon 9000 Pro, I get a really smooth scrolling. But on Sam440ep/733 Mhz and Radeon M9, it's indeed a little jerky (sometimes it really slows down near the water falls).

Regarding the develoment of Hurrican for AmigaOS 4, here is what Huno says about it :

First, thanks to Tommysammy who asked many times Huno for this porting.

The original Hurrican (on Windows) was very buggy. This is why Huno and Sixk (for the MOS version) contacted the original author in order to be able to fix the actual SVN. There were grpahical bugs, sound bugs and so on.

The OS4 version (and the forthcoming MOS version since Huno has sent all the recent fixes to Sixk) are fixed at 99%. Huno spent 4 hours every evening during one week to fix everything and opimize the game and get rid of all the bugs.

It's not only a matter of MAKE as it is often the case on AmigaOS 4, there is really a huge work in our version.

We should be proud to have such an excellent programmer (he learnt everything about programming by himself).
