New CPU. It sounds like they have the next hardware from A-EON already so it's most likely E5500 based going on what was said at Amiwest last year.

That would be Power ISA 2.06 , yes/no? If yes then according to Wiki:

Compliant cores:

Cores that comply with the Power ISA v.2.05
POWER7
PowerPC A2
e500-mc and e5500 cores

POWER7

"Power ISA 2.06"

What does the ISA acronym mean?

great news.

If Hyperion is working deep into the OS core, may as well do all other things like Memory protection or Realtime scheduler capability, multiple users.

Get the core uptodate so we can automate running apps, press gadgets and menus and replay the macro. view and kill running programs and release resources cleanly.

Or even get x86, ARM, Mips core ports tested.

Amiga has lost its creativity in every way , sad but true, i hope we can change this by :

update to a relational database-like quality +ZFS+VC FS - 64-bit journaling file system using file attributes, or metadata and realtime streaming. Like Windows 8.

VMS clustering.

Have right click custom, adaptable menus for different files, eg images can be resized or converted.

Good BASIC language tools, multiple terminals, advanced multi db query/cross reference via ADVANCED AmigaDOS scripting.

Live scripts with dynamic paths with cross network support.

How are you supposed to protect an individual programme`s memory when any programme can access any memory it likes?
