Amigaworld.net News   Amigaworld.net News : NetSurf 3.8 released
   posted by Chris_Y on 29-Aug-2018 23:27:31 (1112 reads)
NetSurf is a web browser for AmigaOS 4 and other platforms.

NetSurf 3.8 features some page layout improvements, stability and security improvements, and some minor additional features. We recommend all users upgrade to NetSurf 3.8.

Download NetSurf

Test builds for AmigaOS 3.5+ (SSL/TLS is broken, help required to fix this)

For me ...

NetSurf 3.8 works fine for viewing and posting on Amigaworld.net

However, Amiga.org is a different story
Viewing uses different fonts. When I type in the comment window, characters begin to jumble together and disappear as I type. Perhaps I need to use a different font for Amiga.org.

Setting "Use anti-aliasing" OFF seems to help for posting on Amiga.org

However, it is not so great for viewing Amigaworld.net or other websites.

Oh well ... I will use Origyn Web Browser or Odyssey Web Brower on Amiga.org
