Great idea.
But I think it might be a good idea not to release the kickstarts (and whatever they could release) until there is an actual new Amiga product ready. Also keep in mind that Cloanto probably have bought the rights for some time out in the future?
Anyway new products could be promoted a little extra (in a cheap way), by doing a complete winUAE install ala AIAB with a few games and promotion material for the new/upcoming products. It would be a neat little package for download and magazine coverdiscs :)
With new Amiga product I mean one for new users, not a pre-release like we have now. To gain new users we need affordable hardware and the stuff AOS currently misses (office apps, java, browser etc.).
Regarding questions for Garry, I for one couldn't care less for what happened in the past , but I am very curious in regards to theire future plans for AmigaOS. Hopefully he will get a little into details about the future path for AOS.
