Just wondering if there is any plan to convert this to OS4. A1 seems like the
ideal platform considering the graphics requirements.

Id love to see an os4 version, I have a copy for my classic but have only played the first as I thort id wait and play it on my A1.

I have Heretic II for my A1200 with PPC accelerator. A fantastic conversion, but I could only get to a certain point in the game before the frame rate became too stuttery.
Still, I'll be able to play it properly on my AmigaOne!

But do we actually need an OS 4 version? With the WarpOS/3D wrapper for OS4 it will probably be like playing a native OS 4 version. That is the entire idea with a WarpOS/3D wrapper isn´t it? Being able to use WarpOS apps without having to port them to OS 4 I mean.

With Warp3D V4 adding support for single-cycle multitexturing, anisotropic filtering, support for 32 bit rendering targets on the Voodoo 4/5, I would say YES

Not to mention that the current alpha build does a "tutorial2" timerefresh of over 300 FPS

But don't ask any specifics. I don't have any idea yet how updates will be handled and such, nor when it will be available or anything like that.

I can see that you have no power over the release but...... just wanted to say that it would be very nice

Every update allmost feals like a new version of the OS. I'm really looking forward to this one. Thanks, thanks, thaaaaanks for the work that you (the whole OS 4 team) are doing

Sounds wonderfull to my eyes (ears too:)
I bought it when i had cvppc for my a4000 before
the ppc died. I was on the last level (last boss)
and have the save saved on my a1 so one day i can
kill that boss.
However now when you talk about the cps and all the
nice extra stuff for warp3d v4 maybe i should
play it from the beginning again :)

I just cant wait :)
