gcp.device utilises the PostScript driver to allow OS4 to print directly to Google Cloud-connected printers.

Most printers can be connected to the cloud, some new printers will natively support Google Cloud Print, others can be connected via a PC and Google Chrome. More information can be found at http://www.google.com/cloudprint

Today our guest is Jarlath Reidy. He is from Ireland and you should already know, he is one of the guys behind Amiga Ireland Meetup. It's a great party, let's talk about it and more.
Our topics are not only connected with Amiga Ireland Meetup. Together with Lucas, we ask Jarlath about Amiga history, what he thinks about NG. We have even a big discussion about Odyssey and Vampire exclusive software. And last but least: Amiga Ireland Podcast - a great show for every Amiga user!

Amigaworld.net News   New book "AMIGA OS 3.1 - Volume One" in English
  Amigaworld.net News posted by A2 on 8-May-2017 22:12:09 (1349 reads)
We present new book about AmigaOS 3.1 in English. It's a really huge item, 500 pages and about 1 MB of pure text. This is the first volume of the planned 3 books, which were previously published in Polish.

The author discusses the AmigaOS 3.1 operating system. Most chapters can also be used while working with release 3.0. In the book we will find parts related to the Workbench elements and how to configure it. Gives you tips on how to use add-ons and extensions that are not part of standard equipment but are system-friendly. After reading we will know the system structure and its great adaptability to individual needs. Separate parts bring you closer to the AmigaDOS commands and the ARexx scripting language with many examples.

More details and full table of contents you can find on our webpage. The book will be available in September. Feel free to place the order

Software News   MUI Royale 1.5 released
Software News posted by softwarefailure on 7-May-2017 11:19:44 (1745 reads)
Airsoft Softwair is proud to present the immediate availability of MUI Royale 1.5. The biggest new feature in MUI Royale 1.5 is Unicode support if Hollywood 7 is available. On top of that, MUI Royale 1.5 has its executable size reduced by about 80kb, contains various bug fixes and adds support for some more MUI features.

MUI Royale requires at least Hollywood 5.2 and is provided free of charge for all users of Hollywood. It is available for AmigaOS 3 (m68k), AmigaOS 4 (PPC), MorphOS (PPC), and AROS (x86). The package comes with over 20 example scripts, many of which are direct ports from the MUI 3.8 SDK by Stefan Stuntz, but there are also original developments like demonstrations of how to create a video player using the combined power of Hollywood and MUI. On top of that MUI Royale comes with extensive documentation in over 300 PDF pages which are also available in the HTML, AmigaGuide, and CHM formats thanks to the Hollywood documentation system.

All this makes MUI Royale the truly royal MUI experience, carefully crafted for you Kings and Queens of MUI! (screenshots: shot1.png shot2.png shot3.png)

Download now available at the official Hollywood portal @ http://www.hollywood-mal.com/

This release was brought to you by Airsoft Softwair - the hardest working men in code business.

News   APC&TCP celebrates 25 years
News posted by AndreasM on 6-May-2017 8:07:52 (1776 reads)
APC&TCP will be 25 years old in May.

Since 25 years, the APC&TCP distribution exists.

In its origin the APC&TCP was founded to publish the software of Computer Club members on fair terms.

However, the offer was expanded very quickly and non-members can also distribute their software via APC&TCP.

The computer club has not been around for a long time, but APC&TCP is still active.
There are still new software titles such as Roadshow, CygnusEd, DigiBooster released and also new updates are being worked on.
