Open Source Portable DigiBooster 3 Replayer |
| Software News posted by AndreasM on 12-Feb-2014 10:13:25 (2397 reads) |
After the successful introduction of DigiBooster 3, APC&TCP releases an open source DigiBooster 3 replayer routine organized as a static library. The code is being released on permissive, two-clause BSD license. The player is written in clean C with minimal dependencies. As such it has been successfully compiled and tested on numerous platforms: AmigaOS 4 and MorphOS, Linux (on x86, x86_64 and aarch64), Windows (XP, Win7, 32 and 64 bit) and MacOS X (x86_64). It also supports the most popular compilers: GCC, Clang and Visual C++. The package contains source code of two example tools: 'dbminfo' displays information about a module, 'dbm2wav' renders a module into 44.1 kHz 16-bit stereo WAVE file. Of course libraryAPI documentation is provided as well. Based on this code we plan to release in the near future more ready to use components, like shared libraries for AmigaOS and MorphOS and a few plug-ins for popular audio players...
