One of the most popular Hollywood plugins, RapaGUI is a cross-platform GUI toolkit that allows you to create graphical user interfaces that run on AmigaOS, Windows, macOS, Linux, and even on Android. SUPER SKIDMARKS RACING GAME BUNDLED ON THE A600GS Cardiff, 13 August 2024
Amiga Indie Games developer, Chris Blackbourn has given approval for his classic Amiga game, Super Skidmarks to be pre-installed on the new A600GS.
Super Skidmarks is now installed ready to play on the A600GS. Existing A600GS users can download a free update directly from Amisphere.com to install the games to the games menu.
Skidmarks was a multiplayer top down racing game created by New Zealand programmer, Chris Blackbourn. It was released for the Amiga in 1993 to much acclaim from users and magazines. The game featured 3D cars that could race around a selections of track. The graphics pushed the Amiga's capabilities at that time. The gameplay was enjoyable especially when playing in multiplayer mode with up to four friends. Super Skidmarks followed as an update in 1995 with more tracks and vehicle types. Players could add caravans hitched to their cars or even race cows on wheels!
Chris is reviving the Skidmarks game by developing a new internet multiplayer version named Epic Skidmarks. Matthew Leaman, MD of AmigaKit Ltd commented on the collaboration: “We are grateful to Chris that he has given his approval to include his much loved racing game with the A600GS. I know many of our users will be so pleased to relive this classic racing game. Chris new project, Epic Skidmarks looks great!"

Hyperion is excited to unveil a brand-new port of Heretic II (2024) developed by Steffen Häuser, tailored specifically for high-performance 68K Amiga systems.
About Heretic II
Heretic II is the highly acclaimed conceptual sequel to the Hexen and Heretic series by Raven Software ®. Heretic II relies on a modified version of the Quake IITM engine by Id Software and plays from a behind-the-back third-person perspective as in the Tomb Raider series but still controls a lot like a first-person shooter.

Hi all!
I'm happy to release AmiModRadio, v1.0β! It fixes #7, #8, #82, #111, #136, #137, #138, #139. More importantly, I revised the design of FTP and HTTP(s) clients so that tasks have their own SocketBase and other data. This revision should prevent bugs if, for example, the rater finishes while the fetcher is still fetching data, let's cross fingers . Most importantly, I provide now five different versions: all-in-one or with only the CLI, ClassAct, MUI, or ReAction user interfaces. More choices, fewer resources! (It uses but doesn't require AmiSSL v5.16.)
As usual, it can be downloaded, along with its source code:

Starting Friday 9th August Heretic 2 68k will be available at Alinea Shop (and possibly soon other resellers as well).
Minimum requirements are a PiStorm based Amiga or a strong emulation system (UAE etc also supported).
Speed Data:
Pi Cm4 2.2 GHz: 25 fps in 640x480, 19 fps in 800x600 Pi4 1.8 GHz: 21 fps in 640x480 Pi3 1.5 GHz: 19 fps in 320x240, 12 fps in 640x360
This is timedemo data, timerefresh values are higher.
Different to the old WarpOS Version the fps-rate is extremely stable, no fps-drop on heavy action scenes.
The game is prepared for MiniGL (above values are software rendering), so if a 3D HW Driver appears for PiStorm (or other 68k hardware) it should work on it (assuming it supports MiniGL).
Background music is played in Ogg Vorbis instead of CD Audio. So no CD Drive needed.
I assume Warp3D should be possible with UAE with Voodoo-Emulation though this has not been explicitely tested.

VIRTUAL GRAND PRIX AND THUNDERHELL GAMES BUNDLED ON THE A600GS Cardiff, 4 August 2024
Famous Amiga games developer, Paolo Cattani has provided his classic Amiga games to be pre-installed on the new A600GS computer.
Virtual GP and Thunderhell are installed ready to play on the A600GS. Existing A600GS users can download a free update directly from Amisphere.com to install the games to the games menu.
Virtual GP was sadly Paolo's last production for the Amiga range of computers shortly after Commodore's bankruptcy. He wanted to to contribute to the Amiga games scene so started the development of Virtual GP (codename AlienF1). VGP would have to accomplish two missions: on the one hand, it would implement a fast 3D engine aimed at hi-specification Amigas (AGA and 68030 required) featuring gouraud shading, texture mapping, billboarding, curved surfaces and all the things that were “hot” at those times; on the other hand, it had to be the most realistic simulation of a Formula One car available on the Amiga.
Thunderhell is a classic shoot-em-up game. The game is an horizontal scrolling (with three levels of parallax), fast paced shoot’em up full of enemies, bullets, explosions and all the bells and whistles that one could expect from a game of that genre.
Matthew Leaman, MD of AmigaKit Ltd commented on the collaboration: “We are thrilled that Paolo has agreed to include his great games with the A600GS. We are grateful for his support of our project.”
Paolo Cattani added: “As a pioneer in the development of video games for the Amiga range of computers I'm very glad and honoured to give my contribution to an amazing project which keeps alive the memory of a machine that was such a glorious milestone of the IT history.”
