Today the Amiga X1000 was announced, which we all probably are celebrating right now. (We do definitely!). Nevertheless, we also celebrate the birthday of our newest project, called "NEAT".

As promised, we added the following 2 goodies to our "distcode" package:
1. "how to" use distcode and cross-compiler in code::blocks (Linux) 2. A nice serial communication monitor for your Linux box (64bit and QT4.5 or higher needed), for watching your EXEC debug messages.

The puzzle for X is still not completely solved, some details are missing, but today a big piece of the puzzle was revealed.
It is about a new PPC-hardware from A-EON, named AmigaOne X1000.

Happy new year everyone! I’ve spent the last several weeks rebuilding our Amiga website. I hope you will give the new layout a look. I have posted a list of new Amiga 1200 components that I intended to build a tower around, but just didn’t get it done. I have decided to put these components up for sale and allow someone with more time to make good use of this equipment. Just click on the link below to get to this page… Long live the Amiga Louie Dituri Computer connection

Cross compiler toolchain for Linux and Amiga OS4.1 |
| hardware OS4 posted by jeanluc72 on 3-Jan-2010 20:42:34 (4883 reads) |
We are proud to announce our first little project for all Amiga developers. Our goal was to develop some tools to get you started with "cross development for Amiga OS4.1". As we have been working quite some while on it, we noticed the lack of a clean method to produce a cross compiler for the Amiga. For this reason, we created a special script which will build a complete cross compiler toolchain for you.

RunInUAE r2 released - easily run old Amiga games on OS4 |
| Software News posted by ChrisH on 3-Jan-2010 15:56:38 (3762 reads) |
RunInUAE is designed to make it incredibly easy to run old Amiga games on Amiga OS4, and it comes with an easy installer, so that you can: * Run almost any ADF or HD installed game or program in E-UAE, by simply dragging & dropping it onto RunInUAE's icon in AmiDock or RunInUAE's program window! * Run WHDLoad & JOTD JST installed games directly, by just double-clicking on them! * Run ADF games by double-clicking them. (Needs a little bit of manual set-up.) * The installer can set-up E-UAE with full-speed Sam-optimised settings. But it can also use your existing E-UAE settings if you want. * The installer will copy the necessary Kickstart ROMs off an Amiga Forever CD, if you don't already have them installed. * You do not need to set-up any assignments, nor create or edit any cryptic scripts or config files, for it to work! (Unlike alternative 'solutions'.)

Airsoft Softwair are very proud to annouce the immediate availability of Hollywood 4.5 (Codename: Snowflake). This is a huge update which brings along many new features and general improvements over Hollywood 4.0. In this update we paid special attention to all the wishes that reached us from the ever growing Hollywood community. We carefully listened to all these requests and tried to realize as many wishes as possible. Hollywood 4.5 is undoubtedly the most advanced Amiga multimedia application. It is highly stable, extremely easy to use and flexible, and enjoyed by many happy Amiga users around the globe. Furthermore, professional commercial companies like Ferrule Media are highly successful thanks to Hollywood's multimedia power. The best pro Hollywood argument is of course that it is available in native versions for 8 (eight) different platforms: AmigaOS3, AmigaOS4, WarpOS, MorphOS, AROS (x86), Windows (x86), Mac OS X (PPC), Mac OS X (x86).

2010-01-03: Alpha 62 - Multiple files can be transferred at once now - Sets status to idle if you're away for 10 minutes but ONLY if you're set to Online - MSN changed their servers recently. It's now necessary for 3rd party clients to change the users display name manually once connected, or else the display name equals your email address. This fix is now in place. - Clicking on a contacts name in your list and then waiting for the help bubble to appear will display semi accurate information about whether you're still on the other persons contacts list. MUI 3.x has a bug where you need to move the mouse pointer out of the window, and back into the window for the help bubble to change when you click on a different contact though. Zune doesnt have this issue.
