Christmas is here and to celebrate AmiPAD 3.1 FE has now gone FREEWARE, AmiPad is a Hollywood app designed for AmigaOS4, but in version 3.1 versions for Windows, Mac, Aros, MorphOs, Classic has been made available. 52 quick links to web powered apps or very useful websites that work on Amiga browser presented in a Apple like table GUI. Also included is the source code for hollywood. Enjoy and Merry Christmas!

Thanks to MUIMapparium you can explore world, create way points, tracks and routes too. Programmed by ALB42.

With ModExplorer, created by Joerg Renkert, get ready to explore the world of music modules and SID songs. There are 125.000 of them available!

Like Pacman? Besides Deluxe Pacman there's now a Hollywood clone running on the Workbench screen. Enjoy!

software OS4   AmigaOS 4: Enhanced version of XSane 0.999 for AmiCygnix released

A new version of scanner driver XSane for AmiCygnix is now available on OS4-depot.
It includes the current version 0.999 of XSane and version 1.0.27 of the sane backends.

Currently only scanners with USB connector or with network interface are supported now.

New in this release:
  • The driver software "Sane" has been updated to version 1.0.27. Many backends have been redesigned and two new backends added:
        - "epsonds" for the support of Epson DS devices.
        - "pieusb" for the support of PIE and Reflecta devices.
  • The driver "HPLIP" of the manufacturer Hewlett Packard was ported in the current version 3.19.8. It supports over 500 HP scanners or all-in-one devices.
    Currently only devices with connection to the network are supported!

    With UFRaw you can edit and convert RAW images. The program is based on Dave Coffin's "DCRaw" and supports various formats.

    UFRaw can be used standalone and as a plug-in for the image editor "The Gimp". Is automatically detected and queried during the installation of UFRaw.

    A new release of "Claws-Mail" is now available on OS4-Depot.
    Claws-Mail is an email client based on GTK+. Lots of extra functionality, like an RSS aggregator or a calendar, are provided by extra plug-ins.

    A new version of the tag editor "EasyTAG" is now available on OS4-depot.

    EasyTAG is a tool for viewing and modifying tags in audio files. It has an
    easy-to-use GTK2 interface. To run an installed AmiCygnix environment version
    1.2 is required.
