Some of you might have experienced trouble with gW3S v2.1 There was a bug in the fancy-files unescaping which affected the way XGI scripts was executed (resulted in a 404 or other error).

From OSNews.com "Can Macintosh software run on an Intel machine at speeds that approach the same performance as on Apple hardware, or visa versa? Not yet, but that day may be closer if a Los Gatos start-up gets its product off the ground, and it could have implications for chip makers."

News   Global re-launch of COMMODORE by TULIP COMPUTERS N.V

This maybe old news, but still worth a mention:

Tulip will receive a license fee for all Commodore C64 products delivered by Ironstone, installed on all computer brands using the Microsoft or any other operating system and all Commodore 64 branded products. In addition, Tulip will receive a license fee over the revenue from software downloads, subscriptions and advertising.

News   NCSA builds SuperComputer from PS2 rack!

The NCSA, a Super Computer Research group have built a supercomputer made from 65 linked up PS2 machines running Linux!

They are currently writing software for the rack of PS2 machines to take advantage of the massive processing power for research purposes.

The Canadian Amiga users group Amiga.info is planning demonstrations of the AmigaOne as well as AmigaOS 4.0 PPC by Justin Hemmings of LiveWire Systems and Adam Kowalczyk of ACK Software Controls for Saturday July 26th in Ottawa, Ontario.

After lots and lots of beta testing, AWR is almost ready to go 24. As from sunday, AWR will be broadcasting longer (we hope) hours....Stay tuned for more info... (That`s of corse we dont kill the server first )
