Traffic has slowed dramatically on many parts of the internet - apparently the result of a fast-spreading, virus-like infection, computer experts say.
The electronic attack is reported to have interfered with web browsing and e-mail delivery.

The AmigaOne section of the Eyetech website has now been greatly improved with more components there for you to buy including sound card and graphics card supported by the A1/OS4 as well as the SuSe OS disks.
Eyetech have also made the AmigaOne XE G3 slightly better by replacing the 700MHz G3 with a 800 MHz G3. It is said to be 70% faster than the AmigaOne G3SE.

A computer hacker who admitted infecting thousands of computers across the world with fast-spreading viruses is facing five years in jail. Simon Vallor, 22, created the bugs at his home in Llandudno, north Wales, and released them on to the internet.
The "mass-mailer" viruses were sent as e-mails that would corrupt data on the computer's hard-drive when they were opened.

"Gobbles", the German hacker who improbably claimed to have infected peer-to-peer file sharing networks and to "0wn" your computer this week, has confirmed that his brag was a hoax. That much, you probably suspected, as Goebbels (as we must now call him) failed to offer a shred of evidence in support of the notion that the RIAA was engaged in widespread intrusion of personal computers.
