USB - Yet Another Fix (Read 3743 times) | INTERROGATIVE MICROCOMPUTER SOLUTIONS PRESENTS: The Solderless AmigaOne USB fix. Note ---- Please consult the excellent guide by Damien Stewart before attempting this fix.
Parts & Supplies Needed ----------------------- 1. Electrical liquid tape 2. Powdered graphite 3. Aluminum foil or antistatic mat 4. Phillips head screwdriver 4. 4 Resistors at 12 to 15KOhm
Instructions -------------- 1. Reverse the directions in the Eyetech Quickstart guide for removing the motherboard, placing it upside down on the antistatic mat, or aluminum foil. 2. Locate the solder points for the USB header. 3. Place the resistors according to the following diagram, KEEPING IN MIND THE PINS WILL BE REVERSED ON THE BOTTOM OF THE MOTHERBOARD.

4. Mix the solderless glue, using 1.5 parts graphite to 1 part electrical liquid tape. 5. Using a toothpick or other narrow instrument, secure the resistors to the solder points on the mother board. 6. Let set at least 4 hours before usage.
