Config and Print modules are given a stack of 8192. I doubt it's stack that's the problem, but I'll raise it and see what happens. _________________ Common sense - So rare it's almost like a super power |

I've been using the print module in OS 4.0 Dopus4 for a long time now. It's the simplest way to print text files without having long lines chopped off. It still works with OS 4.1 if you start it from a shell or icon. There is just a problem with starting it (and ConfigOpus) from DOpus4. | I can't get this to work, I gave DOpus_print an icon and double clicking does nothing. _________________ Peter Swallow. | @Swoop I'm referring to the OS4 version of Dopus_Print. It uses dopus.library so you need to have Dopus4 running so that the dopus.library is already loaded. It might also be possible to move dopus.library to a drawer that is assigned to LIBS: so you can run it without Dopus4 running. With Dopus4 running, I just copied Dopus_Print to RAM: added an icon with Dopus4 and double-clicked the Dopus_Print icon. It works here.

Thanks I'll give it a try. _________________ Peter Swallow. A1XEG3-800 [IBM 750FX PowerPC], running OS4.1FE, using ac97 onboard sound.

I've had some time check out the ConfigOpus crashes. There are several issues here, but the main things seem to be how it creates a new process with arguments, but also how it sends messages between itself and DOpus. It'll take me some time see how this can be solved in a good way. _________________ Common sense - So rare it's almost like a super power |
