| (and before anyone yells OFF TOPIC! its in the general computing and technology forum, not the Amiga ones ).
Anyway, i've written a game for all phones that can do MIDP1.0 and have a colour screen. Basically, that means any phone that can do java in colour.
Its got 85 levels, is really good and its free.

Congratulations. Now see if you can repeat the excercise in DE
And if you find yourself in economical trouble and people aren't donating enough money for you to stay afloat I'll take that girlfriend off your hands at no cost.

Nice game but i personally prefer action games. Why not write games with AmigaSDK instead? _________________ No PowerPC, No Fun Make Amiga Great Again |

I tried it out briefly on my T630 and it's working great. Even though some of the text on the first page is outside the screen. I look forward to getting the time to try it out properly. ... like next time I'm bored on a loo |

I've had reports of it running on the Nokia 3100, 6610i, and Sony Ericsson T610, T630, and a couple of others.
It should run on pretty much any Java phone because its written to the MIDP1.0 standard, which is like the baseline standard for Java phones. _________________ Playstation Network ID: xeron6 |

Cool, my Mum and my Girlfriend have the 3100, too. ;) Nice little mobile that is... Guess, I will give the game a spin on my 6230.
CU, Mario
Edit: The GPRS-Download works and the game on my 6230, too. :) Nice work. Though level2 is quite hard... ah, no, wrong strategy. 8)

Looking for suggestions? I'd have some :)
How about a:
- retry button, for the case when it cannot be solved anymore, it's more politically correct than commiting suicide. 8) - change the pause to restart when "game over" - maybe add a block for direct moves after one got killed (that is all keys must be released before one can start). Sometimes I am still in the move an immeditaley kill myself when the level is restarted. :)
CU, Mario
PS: Think I have to go an train myself on the C64... :)

excellent, I loved that game on my C=64. Shame this version doesn't have the music. Works well on the TAO supplied jvm on my orange spv c500 smartphone. |

Excellent work.
Works just fine on my Ericsson T-610, the only problem I see is that the text on the start screen reaches beyond the screen, the game itself fits just fine on the display.
Anyways, fiver on its way to you, and lots of fun for me instead Last edited by sibbi on 07-Jul-2005 at 11:23 PM.

Funny, I'm developing a mobile game with my nephew. It's my first mobile game, and it's a remake of an old BBC micro game, where we change the name and add more and better graphics and sound.
I was wondering, how the copyright laws are for those old games? Could we be in trouble, if some of the graphics looks like the old? Back then, when a company released a great game, you always saw several remakes from other companies with almost the same graphics and maybe a namechange.

Yes, I'm still here. I haven't had a chance to update the game at the moment. I've been busy at work, and I still haven't had a chance to set up my home computers after moving house! _________________ Playstation Network ID: xeron6 |
