wrapped around a frail husk holding nothing but greed, hunger, vanity and certainly - oh certainly not, my friends - the faintest trace of a soul.

Look!
Look at the shape of things to come.
"Vultures and Vampires, you say?"

Vultures with beaks and claws soaked in blood, says I.

Vampires voraciously sinking their fangs into orphans.
And Werevolves with soiled maleodorant furs.
And Frankenstein monsters .1, .2, .54.
Zombies with twitching shoulders.

Think, beautiful friends of the Amiga,
naive souls,
Raymond Babbits of retrocomputing.

Think and once and for all rend the dark pact you made with this fiend.

When the NeXT Cube was shown to the world for the first time, we now know that it wasn't ready for release and that all it could really run is a Demo of itself.

I've always had that feeling about AmigaOS 4.x computers. They always fill the screen with a bunch of different windows, amounting to practically nothing of significance.

I think maybe he's a demon, bought forth to reality by the combined insanity and negativity of the Amiga community over the last 25 years since it became irrelevant to the computing world.
Him being involved in the book "From Vultures To Vampires" is entirely too ironic to be anything other than ridiculing the community in front of their faces.

Not to mention he looks like the original "You Mad Bro" meme.

I prefer to place my monitor on top of the desk stand not in front.

Looking straight ahead is better than looking down at a screen.

You can slide the keyboard under the stand when done and have a less cluttered desk.

It looks like a study or computer room to me and by the colour of his hair at least 10 years ago. He's probably moved since then. Not much to discuss IMHO.

I'm looking forward to his book though; Vultures to Vampires Volume 2 from David Pleasance and Trevor. God bless the man, whatever brand of bathroom 'throne' he chooses!

I'd say this confirms what is mentioned in the Amiganews report above.

Initially there was talk about it taking a few years to complete bankruptcy proceedings in Belgium, hence no desire to file a police report.
Other more ridiculous reasoning has been mentioned since.

Perhaps the truth can be told one day when the lawsuits have been resolved. To be fair we should hear all sides of the story, no?
