Hello all!

Does anyone here know where I can find the serialnumber for my Amiga OS 3.2.2.

I have bought the original Amiga OS 3.2.2 CD, but I can't find the serialnumber anywhere. I have looked on the CD Case, on the CD itself and in the manual, but the serialnumber is nowhere to be seen.

I need that so I can register my copy on Hyperions site and download updates.

It was on a sticker on the plastic wrapping that you threw into the bin.

That's a bummer then, because I ordered my A1200 from retropassion.co.uk with preinstalled OS 3.2. I think that my copy of OS 3.2 already was opened when I received it.

I will check with retropassion and see.

The CDs are made in-house under license, the sticker on the scellophane is the only valuable bit!

Yes, really good system, sigh, I have sent a mail to retropassion and will wait for their reply. I'm guessing that they do not have it.

I will have to order a new copy I guess sigh again....

I want to be careful what I say, I can't gurantee that it was'nt plastic wrapped, I did a recording when unboxing my Amiga, unfortunately I never turned my OS Case upside down so I can't 100% say that it wasn't wrapped, but it looks like it was not wrapped.

Anyway, it's around $40 to buy another copy, so it's not the whole world. It's just a little frustrating, :)

Maybe they put it on this small sticker for a purpose.
I liked always to take a fast photo of such things to be safe.

I�m back in 2023 on Classic Amiga with my A1200/Blizzard1230IB@50Mhz, 32MB RAM, AmigaOS3.2 and ROMs, Indivision AGA MK3, Author of Amiga-Flipclock (OS4)

I never got an reply from retropassion, so I do not know if they opened the package or if it was me that got it lost.

Anyway it is a really stupid idea to have the serialnumber on the plastic around the cd case. it should be on the inside of the box.

I ordered another copy from another place and they delivered the serialnumber in a plastic bag still attached to the paper that the stickers comes with. So now I have a registered version of Amiga OS 3.2
