That’s the wrong change log, if you look at date,
basically they messed things up when they started with the updates to the final edition, I think it was update 5 or something before Final Edition, so FE update 3 is more like update 9, if they did not start with final edition nonsense.

I also surprised not many talking about the fact that Pistorm may be able to do PPC soon!!! This may really boost AmigaOs4.1 classic sales and renew a bit of interest in PPC market, along with the Virtio GPU Driver with Enhancer Software 2.3 and improved QEMU AmigaOs4 emulation efforts, it all pretty good news to me!

i kinda think Amigakit with its A1200NG project should of perhaps gone more this route than the slightly simpler full emulation. I think having the AGA chipset done by FPGA makes the emulation a lot better and of course free up the ARM chip to just do 68k or soon PPC emulation makes the system even faster.

For AmigaOS4.1 you need a working MMU and as FPU support is not fully working.
this will take time. when that is in place, its not impossible.

for lowest cost you can use WinUAE / QEMU, run everything if you have on a PC, or run AROS...

custom PI based setups, A1200NG A600GS, The A500, The A1200 his are low end market,

I think its important for Amiga Kit get money to fund the development projects, why they are in this market, and not letting Retro Game Limited take the market.

Hyperion on other hand might sell AmigaOS3.3 licenses to Retro Game Limited, this can get interesting.

for people who already has A1200 / A600 / A500 you PiStorm

for people who wants to pay higher price, for better hardware you have:
FPGA arcade, MiniMig, Vampire, AmiCube 1.1

And then comes PowerPC systems as highest cost.

I do not think that AmigaOS will run on Pistorm hardware. It is about warpUp software. To run amigaos certainly more would needed

I think “disappoint� is the keyword here, its not me who he needs worry about being disappointed, this thing will need to compete agent AmiBench, that lots enhancements. And it might not be that differently priced. The A1200 NG, is just a motherboard with the shell, on the other that might dis-point some people as well. Its deficiently better if was possible sell it as complete setup.

Yes? "Workbench" was the name of the amiga desktop from day one... But if they use "1200" it is more propable that they use some sort of 3.1 installation than anything else

we will see how this "1200 NG" will look like and what it will offer. I assume it is dedicated to ex amiga users or people who only want to play games from time to time and get the amiga feeling.

It would be interesting if it would be a full replacement for A1200 and you could add amiga hardware like disc drives at it.

Real A1200 became rare and expensive lately.

I think AmiCube is kind of on the right path..
you have chipset simulated on FPGA, and you can connect a PiStorm.
