UADE may be a nice attemp, but on the other hand it gains 50% CPU-Time, a bad joke!?

they should work pretty fine in uae. and they should sound the same minus the character the paula hardware adds to the sound.
it tends to sound a bit warmer on real hw.

68K powerpacker.library should work fine on OS4, I use it for PP files with 68K PPMore just fine.

I tried that already. Delitracker comes up with an error "Can't identify file, etc, etc". Is it something with Deli's settings I have overlooked?

I'll have to find a replacement PATA harddrive for my µA1-C because the current one is completely broken now . Until then I won't be able to do much OS4 programming, but after that I may look into making an UADE plugin for TuneNet.

Version 2.34. If unpack them manually they play fine. Tunenet will play the packed mods. Not sure if it does this with it's own plugins or uses the powerpacker. library.

I did what you suggested in your post but it doesn`t work : AHI-Noteplayer`s window displays "Noteplayer not in use".
I have OS 4.1.6 (SamFlex) and I`ve added the timer kernel module.

Since this thread has apparently been brought back from the dead. I think it might be appropriate to mention that UADE (Unix Amiga Delitracker Emulator) is now available (since 9-Aug-2012) as a plugin for TuneNet:

It supports compressed modules through xpkmaster.library and xfdmaster.library.

Also - because Delitracker did a worse quality job on OS4 than 68k - TuneNet out of those two produces better sound.

Hello, I use your approach on MorphOS and it works quite well. But only when I remove Paula-Noteplayer from the list with the genies first. So I disassembled DeliTracker (2.34) and created a patched version which does NOT add the Paula-Noteplayer.

So no need for step 6 and deletion of the Paula-Noteplayer-Genie on startup anymore, because with this patched version you will only see AHI-Noteplayer in the future

Can anybody use the PlaySid player on OS4?
It seems to be playing, but no output can be heared. Maybe that one not working with AHI-Noteplayer genie?
