| Has anybody successfully used GnuDB with PlayCD (or anyone of the Amiga players supporting the old CDDB format now replaced by GnuDB)? I've tried every combination with no success at all.
Here's my current config (this one at least seems to try to connect):

Thanks in advance.

I'm using it with FreeDB and ADRipper.
In both of the configs I can see I'm using port 80, not 8080.
I'm also using the proxy setting which you have in parentheses, so try activating that tooltype - but note that you seem to have a typo in it: It says "gundb", not "gnudb" in the first part of the domain name in your setting.
It's been a while since I last tried it out, though, ao no guarantees.
Best regards,
Niels

To add to what Niels has written above: I've been much more successful using gnudb.org over HTTP compared to CDDBP, so if your application allows that configuration, try using HTTP at port 80. _________________ The Rear Window blog
