Make it a PlayTV2 bundle

PlayTV2 was not announced at E3. Probability is low, I'd claim 0, that Sony will be ready for Santa.

I didn't think so. Something must have gotten lost in the American2English translation...

Well not everyone will want Move, what other bundles have Sony got up their sleeve? The retailers left to their own devices are not really doing the PS3 justice with the bundles they're offering! What the hell is ModNation Racers for instance? At least Xtreme Racing had a proper Editor, I doubt these "Play, Create, Share," games live up to proper Computer Game editors! I'd rather have Wipeout HD and SuperStardust HD buddled along with Super Street Fighter IV!

Recall, NVIDIA is powering the 3DS.

From latest Digital Foundry article on the Nintendo 3DS:

"There's absolutely no sign at all of an NVIDIA Tegra GPU in this as previously reported, and clearly the graphics technology is not in the same league"

"Well-informed sources have told us that after the NVIDIA deal went south a while back, Nintendo sourced a new graphics processor from closer to home."

Various vendors in the US handle this by providing cards. For example, The 360 Arcade bundle dropped to $150. One gets Viva Pinata and some other game. Viva Pinata is a great game but obviously not everyone's cup of tea. Wal-Mart is throwing in a $50 Wal-Mart card. (Other stores like Target have a card too.) This allows the purchaser to buy that FPS or RPG and in effect create their own bundle.

I think this is the way as it allows for flexible 'bundles' where the user can define what games are more attractive to them.

The other thing I'd like to see more of is a mix and match. Spend $500 on anything PS3 related at store X and you get Y discount. Though retailers seem less likely to do this and more likely to give the $50 card.

Wasn't the XBox 360 $149 before in the United States? Here during holiday season 2008 the XBox 360 was already 119 euros (including taxes, memory card and a free game).

Maybe some specials last Christmas? The spring Xbox 360 Arcade Bundle has been $199 list for a while. Microsoft announced the price drop to make room for the new slim model.

The word is traits, not trades. If you don't think you are being treated fairly stay civil anyway or abstain from posting at that time. If you think the TOS is being violated in this "unfair treatment" you have gotten hit the report button.

MikeB seriously? I know I should stay out of this. But, you've been suspended already. When do you learn that your ego is writing checks your butt can't cash. Poking moderators and bears is a really bad idea.

@BrianK

I just looked it up, a Falbe 2 bundle was priced 150 dollars in the United States last year. Actually even 100 dollar deals were provided by Amazon and other dealers.

If you wish PM your concerns to DaveyD and/or start a thread in the Website Feedback forum.

Beyond that you have to follow the terms of service as they stand right now.

DaveyD seems MIA. Feedback forum IMO doens't work.

Of course, I will behave according to the TOS I myself wrote, unless being treated unfairly and non of the mod team acts accordingly. If I'm banned in a biased manner, so be it.

Got links?

Seems odd that a contract was *won*. How does a deal go south after a contract is won and 4 months later we have what looks like final hardware.

Until actual sources appear, I will continue with my assumption that its an NVIDIA cpu/gpu combo be it called Terga or Bologna.

Funny you aren't the only one to claim to be its author, and even if you are that sadly doesn't mean you are necessarily going to follow the rules. If you feel you get unfair treatment you request adjudication when you don't like a decision. In the meanwhile don't be calling your fellow members here names.

To be clear, it was a team effort during the high times of AmigaWorld, but critical parts of the TOS were simple copy&pastes of my contributions.

Absolutely, I always will continue to unless of course what I highlighted above.

Done that, IMO doesn't work. If you reread topics going back as far as 2006 I think you will get the true scope.
