Agreed, congratulations and thank you for the hard work, guys.

People always will find something to rant about. Even when AOS4 is done, they will find something, but you know better than anybody what you should be proud about : making it a reality.

Keep it going (or boing )

To be honest, I don't see any slow display here on my machine. For example, the AROS demos we've compiled run absolutely smoothly.

It might be a myth brought up by you-know-who.

Yes, great work
We all know that there's a lot of work to be done on graphics.library, but the point is that now AOS4 is running on A1!

Hi, couldn't help having to read about this threat. I agree that Hyperion has done an excellent job on the AmigaOS 4, and i have seen the demonstration of it on AmigaOne on video! Truly amazing!

Keep it going, guys! Soon to be released!

BTW guys I didn't comment on the look of OS4 - damn you're doing a FINE job, beautiful color-scheme IMO. Much better to have white windows for folders than the old grey ones. What does everyone else think? This is just an observation from the video's.

BTW, regarding the jerkiness of the motions of windows, I noticed the HAND that goes infront of the camera in one of the shots is also jerky .......

... So, where is the slowness?

I use several OS's myself. Some are faster than others.

I run WindowsXP and QNX 6.2 on my pc at home. I have found that both systems seem to work faster when I set up my options so that only an outline of the window frame is dragged around the screen. Then the window is redrawn at the final position.

Of course this may be personal preference ...

That's also how it works on my Amiga2000HD running AmigaOS3.1
