So there is someone above you who's pulling the strings? Are you implying that Aldur is indeed the victim of a vast conspiracy, as he has previously claimed?

As fir whether I am ready to cross that line..let's see.....

You do that, and I'll cry wolf with such loudness and vigor that you'll have "AW-censorship" threads popping up at My Little Pony appreciation portals even. Try me, mister, try me.

the response is a resounding "Yes", the thread vanishes into obscurity...

I think you should press the "Yes" button in the poll in this thread instead. It'll provide much greater satisfaction, trust me!

Good grief Penfold - If David Blunkett wants to get all Big Brother/1984/Pick your own civil liberties nightmare on the UK population, he only needs you on the team

Tehe, he, he... You cross that line, and I'll rave about it to the point where I won't even be taken seriously on the bunny.

Do you have the guts?

By the way, you have voted in the poll, yes?

@mjohnson

I'm too nice for that right now

Ask the same in about a week and 6 days, after worrying about not having packed everything I need to for my trip, and I may just do it

As for the poll......I have chosen to abstain for now

What if I ask you in about 3-4 weeks, when you come back from the trip during which you realized that you did indeed forget to pack half the stuff, would that be provocative enough for ya?

I see, you think you're too good to take part in such a mundane concept as justice, huh?

Makes you wonder just what kind of a hold aldur has on you...tsk, tsk..

Try 12 weeks

I'm off to Brazil to be with my fiancee for 3 months, which many people who know me know I do each year

simple someone attacks you punch them as hard as you can on the bridge of the nose then slam the base of the palm of your hand upwards connecting on tip if the nose, or create a fist with one knuckle futher out than the others and smack them just below the ear lobe usually works for me

if fighting two people try to figure out which is the one you don't want to fight then keep the other between you and him beat the #### out of him then kick the crap out of the other one

if these sound too dangerous for you then try running like feck

watch { excuse me, yes you the thread standing over there with nothing to do come here a minute, now you watching steve I shall do this only once (BANG) thud...................

Well it isn't so much a street brawl type of nation, more a....

"give me your money, watch and anything else I may find useful, and I'll shoot you anyway",

or maybe

"Stop at this red traffic light, and as you do I'll point my gun at you rob and and shoot you anyway because I can, and the Police are about as likely to find me and do anything about it as you are to get out of that vehicle and give me some grief with that hole in your head"

@thread

After a long meeting with aldur and two of his......friends.... a few days ago, I have spent many a moment contemplating my future, as well as my involvement in this thread.

It is now with much sadness and regret that I hereby announce my immediate resignation from this topic.

This has nothing to do with ideological reasons, or a faltering belief in justice, but has everything to do with the concern I currently have for my friends and relatives, my loved ones. As well as my own well-being. I have realized that I can no longer pursue this subject if I value their safety and mine, which I do to a great degree.

The charges against the suspect (or, as he will forever be known to most of us, the guilty), aldur, on account of "Thread termination" are therefor withdrawn, effective immediately.

I understand that I have failed those of you who have been following this thread with great interest, but you must trust me when I tell you that I have spent a great amount of time contemplating this, and have now come to the conclusion that there are no other alternatives available to me.

I now hope that we can pick up the pieces (of the slain threads) and move on, On to new threads, new topics and, hopefully, no further persecution of unwanted threads.

I thank you for your support throughout this ordeal, and plead for your understanding in this difficult moment.

Twenty to five, I have nothing further to add. The people obviously want justice, but I am no longer the person to bring it to them.

I've just thought of a update to the website that would be really GOOD if it was possible to find out who voted for what in a poll *evil grin*

Oh, long gone are the days when one had to announce who one was voting for... in Britain, anyway.

If you kill another thread, maybe we should all hammer the "report abuse" button.

Just a friendly word of advice...don't go there. It would be in your best interest not to. Really. For your own good, man...

As I "voluntarily" admitted a few days ago*, I voted against you three times. Twice from this computer, once from work. But you already knew that, and I thought we had agreed not to go there..

*You can tell Mr. Coccotti that he was right, by the way, it was just fractured, not broken as I believed at the time..
