he means toxic in legal sense, f.e. the dispute between cloanto and hyperion

And of course the disputes in the past like the wars on the web between MorphOS team and Hyperion

But I am not sure how many people outside the community remember Amiga at all. I assume most left in the 90s

Which is why all parties who have any saying in the matter are spending their "fortunes" in court these days, fighting over the brand, copyrights, distribution rights, its trademarks etc. Or to sum it up in one word - toxic.
