Hi guys.
I had a long break of playing with AmigaOS and MorphOS then.
Last 8-10 years I work only with Linux. Original Amiga hardware sold out. MacMini (MorphOS) stored deeply and covers with dust.
Neverthless AmigaOS addiction is too strong and came out recenly. I recalled AmiKIT I have played with a little one day.
Today there is a bootable USB Plug N'Play disk available. I have watched several videos presenting AmiKIT 12 in action and IMO it's absolutely amazing how it's precisely configured up to the very last detail. DOpus5, MUI, MCP. I used to love that and I want them back.

Please, let me know if I'm wrong (got an 64-bit PC with a raw, empty, internal HDD):
1. After booting up from that USB stick I'll be able to run Installer and install a full system (a Linux) with AmiKIT on top of it. True?
And questions:
2. What kind of Linux (what distro) will appear on my HDD after the installation?
3. Will the boot process from internal HDD run same way as from original AmiKIT USB after installation?

I miss draggable screens in MorphOS... and do you? I know I'm in a minority unfortunately.

@r-tea

I dont have that stick myself so this is just how I asume it works after reading the description on the Amikit ordering page.

When you boot from the stick you can use AmiKit directly from there, I doubt you will be able to install directly from that environment.
To use it on your Linux I think you must boot your own linux and run the installer from there.

Jan, the author of AmiKit is out of town on work and when he gets back, I will send him a note
to get ahold of you. I have been using AmiKit for years and it is by far the best Amiga to use for
Amigans with out the REAL things !
